On this site you will learn
about my favorite Rapers, as well as one of the most well known rap group in New York. You will also learn the biography of
each rapper in D-Block.
Jadakiss
Jadakiss became a popular freestylist,
engaging in competitions by the time he was twelve. He and some of his early friends, such as Sheek Louch, were given the
opportunity to compete in the Jack the Rapper Competition in Florida, and Jadakiss did mad good, making friends with
Ruff Ryders. During this time, Jadakiss and his D-Block camp were emboiled in lyrical warfare with Beanie Sigel and Roc-A-Fella/State
Property. This beef all started from an article in The Source magazine, where Jadakiss said that Philly rappers stole his
style and flow. As a teen, he was given the opportunity to get into a recording studio and has ripped every track ever
since.
Styles-P
Styles P, my favorite rapper out of
D-Block keeps it so real, one look and, he’ll make any “Ruff-Neck” go soft. He embodies true thug-life to
the fullest, all I have to say on his behalf is he's the king of the concrete jungle, forget 50 when it comes to runnin the
streets, 50 may have the money and the publicity... but thats all that G-Unit got on D-Block cause they can only put their
money up against them, not their style, or their rap game. His personal experiences with life have molded him to be one of
the most—if not the most—grimiest and most lethal rapper around today. That is why he's my favorite rapper cause
his style is, You’re either with him or against him, plain and simple... end of story.

Sheek
Louch
You should be ashamed of yourself if you ever
underestimated Sheek. Shame on you for thinking that his membership in the LOX is all he had and all he’d ever be. After
dropping two LOX albums, 1998’s platinum debut Money, Power & Respect, and 2000’s chart topping follow up
We are the Streets, Sheek became a business man. First, he bought a recording studio in his hometown town of Yonkers, NY.
But little do people know, Sheek Louch founded the record label D-Block with lifelong friends Jadakiss and Styles P. Sheek
has been quietly focused. While Jadakiss and Styles were busy making guest appearances with everyone from Mary J. Blige to
Jennifer Lopez, Sheek was planning and securing the foundation for what will undoubtedly become one of hip hop’s greatest
classics, “D Block.” As the first artist signed to D-Block, Sheek’s debut Walk Witt Me takes hip hop back
to the good days when MCs rapped with the kind of passionate power that could move entire coasts. After listening to Walk
Witt Me, you’ll never sleep on Sheek again. In fact, you’ll be impatiently waiting for the next 16 bar ride
through his life. “This album is all me,” says Sheek.
